/ About the project
In 2022, Balmain invited me to create a short video about Lisette Appeldorn and her process of crafting unique masks for their Paris Haute Couture show.
Shot in just half a day, I took on both directing and camera work. Capturing the magic of her creative flow. With full creative freedom and little time, the challenge was clear: make something beautiful, fast.
More time is always nice, but I love finding the spark in tight shoots. This one was all about instinct, craft, and letting the process shine.
